Sabino TintoSpain

This wine makes a rather sharp first impression.

The first breath reveals a noticeable acidity. Without giving it a little time to open up, the aroma can feel quite sharp and even slightly unpleasant.

But the first sip tells a different story.

Despite that sharp beginning, the palate is sweet, soft, and surprisingly pleasant. There are no heavy or overpowering notes here. It drinks easily, leaving behind a gentle fruity impression.

This is one of those wines that shouldn’t be judged by its first breath. Give it a little time, and it reveals a much softer side.

Sabino Tinto works well at the table, but it can also accompany dessert. It would be particularly interesting with chocolate or blue-veined cheeses such as Grand Noir or Cambozola. The wine’s gentle sweetness complements the richness of the cheese, while its freshness keeps the pairing from becoming too heavy.

Wine mood:

first impressions can be misleading. Sometimes one sip is enough to change your mind.
